Roy To Community Service Award
An HKUST graduate in 2005, Mr Roy To committed his life to serving underprivileged people. He passed away in a traffic accident on a service trip to Inner Mongolia in 2008. With an aim to recognize HKUST students with exceptional contribution to community service, the Award is presented every year to the full-time UG or PG student who best exemplifies the service spirit of the late Mr To.

HKUST Alumni Endowment Fund Community Service Award
A group of alumni who have had rewarding experiences in servicing donated to the Alumni Endowment Fund (AEF) with the hope to encourage students to get involved in their community. The award was thus set up to honor students who have demonstrated strong commitment and leadership in volunteer services and contributed to the community with proven track records. The award is presented every year to a maximum of two HKUST students.

Dean's Service Awards by Business School
The Dean's Service Awards aim to encourage and recognize students who wholeheartedly engage in community service on or beyond campus. Each year the Business School (SBM) grants a maximum of 10 Dean's Service Awards to SBM students who have proven records in the provision of services within or outside the HKUST community, as well as demonstrable leadership and organizational abilities.

Outstanding Community Service Award by Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies
This award is given annually to a maximum of 3 undergraduate students of the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) who have made outstanding contributions to the betterment of society through community service during the award year. The contribution needs to significantly impact the university community and/or the targeted community.

Outstanding Service Awards for Tertiary Students
Introduced by the Hong Kong Student Services Association in 1991, the Outstanding Service Awards for Tertiary Students aims to recognize full-time undergraduate students with outstanding leadership and significant contribution to the community. Awardees are invited to join the Hong Kong Outstanding Tertiary Students’ Services Association founded by past recipients of the Award where they can meet alumni and advisors with rich experiences in community services.
