University YMCA - HKUST

Established in 2003 by the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (CYMCA), the University YMCA (Uni-Y) is a life-building process that empowers, equips, and prepares students to become future leaders with a global vision and perspective. In 2010, the University YMCA at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) was initiated as a partnership project between CYMCA and HKUST, aligning with the missions and objectives of both institutions.
Through participating in Uni-Y programs, students would be nurtured physically, intellectually and spiritually so as to achieve whole person development. Students would also acquire social leadership qualities and learn to be responsible leaders. As well, they can form a cabinet to extend their leadership potential and enhance their communication abilities through planning, organizing and implementing various programs and projects.
