Community Organizations
HKUST Connect is dedicated to mobilize the entire campus to embrace community engagement as a way of learning, living and being. We are committed not only to providing assistance or performing service, but also building authentic and lasting relationships with our community partners. It is with this mindset that we invite community organizations to partner with us, hoping to create a variety of shared positive experiences that serve the genuine needs of the community, as well as contribute to the betterment of the society.
Our community partners can benefit from our partnerships in several ways:
- Establish a reciprocal relationship with HKUST, gaining practical resources to solve community problems and expand their community work
- Engage motivated and capable young adults to build better communities
- Provide a means to shape students' values and prepare them for community involvement after graduation

The University, the Schools and the student societies are also actively pursuing community partnerships for engaging students in service opportunities and civic endeavours. The School of Business and Management has ongoing partnership alliances with the House of Learning and the Caritas Social Service Division to offer credit-bearing community project programs for their undergraduates with the hope of nurturing students' social responsibility.
HKUST Connect facilitates volunteer recruitment and placement with community organizations. We will also be pleased to work out a specific partnership program with you based on your goals and community needs. For further information and cooperation opportunities, please contact us at connect@ust.hk.
