Beyond the limits, Embracing resilience 伴你行．心力加油站

To promote emotional health and resilience among junior youth, four HKUST students from the Connect Ambassadors for Community Engagement (Connect ACE) Program partnered with Choi Hung Estate Catholic Secondary School to launch a three-session workshop series for Secondary 3 and 4 students.

Supported by 12 HKUST volunteers, the program introduced secondary school students to various stress-relief interventions. The first two sessions focused on emotional self-awareness, helping students recognize signs of stress and explore coping tools across both energy and calm zones. The final session featured a campus tour and interactive, task-based activities to help students reflect on their experiences.

The program fostered meaningful peer exchange. HKUST volunteers gained deeper insight into the challenges faced by today’s secondary students, while the students expressed gratitude for the volunteers' guidance and shared experiences. Ultimately, the service enhanced stress awareness and emotional resilience for both the participants and the volunteers.
