Connect for Change 2024 - Global Service Day
Social issues such as poverty, health, education, equality and climate change have been amplified after the pandemic. As society recovers from the crisis, we need to rebuild connections with and support the community more than ever.
HKUST Connect brought back Global Service Day last year in Connect for Change as a joint effort of all University members to engage with the community. Coinciding with Global Youth Service Day, students, staff and alumni will venture out into the community again this April to participate in various community service and make a positive impact.
Create a culture of contribution: Instill a deep sense of service in the entire university population, including staff, students and alumni.
Work together for the common good: Mobilize the entire campus to join hands in a meaningful and memorable endeavor, making a lasting impact as a university, not only through academic excellence but also through unity in diversity.
Build human connections: Bring individuals inside and outside the campus together for a shared positive experience, laying the foundation for lasting relationships in the future.
