HKUST students assisted in the operation of the Hong Kong FLL Robotics Tournament for primary and secondary students. They served as helpers in the training workshops and the tournament. They also provided support in the preparation of materials like LEGO fields as well as designing and operating one of the carnival booths.

The aim of the competition is to nurture youngsters’ curiosity about science and technology. These competitions enable the children to get hands-on experience and explore the possibilities of science and technology. The HKUST students applied their academic knowledge in engineering and science while serving as helpers in the competitions.
