The Dongguan Service Learning Trip aims to help children from migrant workers’ families visually draw out their future in a creative way. Supported by HKUST Connect, 15 HKUST students designed several workshops to guide the children to picture the memorable moments in their life and use drawings to do life planning. Our volunteers also planned various games, organized a party to celebrate International Children’s Day, and brought the children to visit the Science Museum. All the children were very excited to be with our students and both of them enjoyed this fruitful experience.
