You are not alone - Visit with Singleton Elderly@TKO

On 13 Oct 2012, a group of REDbird Award Program members took part in community service to conduct home visits to the singleton elderly in the Tseung Kwan O area. They were set off in pairs to visit the different households and delivered a small package of biscuits to each as a token of care. Through the interactions with the elderly, volunteers gained new insights into the lives of seniors who live on their own and faced challenges in their daily lives. Moreover, volunteers were able to reflect on ways to improve their skills and attitude toward serving the needy after this service experience.
