In order to alleviate the financial burden of lower-income families due to escalating food prices, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service initiated the program - “Kiddy Heart Canteen” to offer inexpensive dinners.
HKUST volunteers helped out in the program at Yau Ma Tei in June by providing homework tutorials for underprivileged primary students in order to ease their academic difficulties. They had fun in playing a wide range of interactive games and were exploring new interests beyond their familiar surroundings.
