HKUST volunteers organized an activity for children with autism or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at Benji's Centre. The aim was to improve their communication and social skills through interactive games. The views towards children with autism and ADHD have changed among the volunteers after spending an enjoyable afternoon with them.
Benji's Centre organized a walkathon to raise funds to support their speech therapy services for underprivileged children with speech disorders. Together with volunteers from different community groups, our student volunteers assisted in the "Bird Run" corporate competition and other on-site logistic support.
