"Little Master" Mentorship Program 2014 is a two-month-long program which aims at teaching cooking skill and enhancing self-care ability of children in need. Those children come from low income family. In these two months, our volunteers acted as big brothers and sisters to these children. They cooked breakfast and played games together in training activities. Three outings were successfully held on 19, 29 July and 2 August respectively. The first outing activity was held in Sham Shui Po. Our volunteers and those children co-operated to walk through different checkpoints to get themselves familiar with Sham Shui Po district. The second one was more challenging. They went hiking from Tseun Wan to Shing Mun Reservoir. The last outing was a picnic at Jordan Valley Park. Throughout these series of activities, friendship and connection were cultivated between our volunteers and those children. They were assigned to different matching which will be a group of companion until this November.
