Bare Foot Challenge 「赤腳Builder」慈善行

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit housing organization with a mission to eliminate poverty housing worldwide by building simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner families themselves and volunteers. 

Habitat for Humanity China organized a fundraising event “Bare Foot Challenge” which supports their future developments. Not only could the public know more about the mission and work of the organization, they could also ponder what are meant by “poverty” and “social integration”.  During the event, HKUST volunteers provided logistics support such as managing the checkpoint booth and giving instructions to the participants.
