Food Angel was a food assistance program launched in 2011 by Bo Charity Foundation which aimed at rescuing edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry. The food collected would be prepared as nutritious hot meals and then redistributed to the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. HKUST volunteers assisted in sorting the vegetables and packing the meal boxes in this activity.
