‘Child Welfare Scheme’ (CWS) is a Hong Kong-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young adults through sustainable projects on education, healthcare and protection. They work with children, communities and partners, from remote rural areas to urban centres, striving to change children’s lives by giving back their rights.
In the City Challenge this year, 200 people raced through Admiralty and Wan Chai, from check point to check point, exploring Hong Kong’s cultural heritage; experiencing hidden gems and hustle and bustle. With the volunteer's amazing support, CWS was able to raise over HK$100,000 for their Anti-trafficking project in Nepal, helping children reintegrating from Nepal's corrupt orphanages.
