Autumn is here and it is the perfect time for our Hiking with Elderly activity again! HKUST collaborated with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Fong Shu Chuen District Elderly Community Centre to connect HKUST students and elderly from Shau Kei Wan District together for another hike in Clear Water Bay.
The group hiked along the High Junk Peak Country Trail. They walked on the trail around High Junk Peak, one of the sharpest mountains in Hong Kong, and enjoyed the scenic view of Clear Water Bay and Tseung Kwan O. During the hike, HKUST volunteers and the elderly shared with each other about their lives and hobbies, and had a great time learning more about each other. They all had a joyful Saturday morning.
