Having a nice meal together

Down syndrome (DS or DNS), also known as Trisomy 21, is a chromosomal genetic disorder which has no cure. Persons with Down syndrome share similar appearance traits; however, each of them is unique and special. They are innocent and straightforward, interpreting the world from their own perspectives. Some of us, nonetheless, still hold misconceptions about them.

Therefore, a team of Connect Ambassadors for Community Engagement (Connect ACE) this year work on a project aiming to remove people’s misunderstandings and learn more about people with Down Syndrome. The project includes a city hunting in Chai Wan, making glutinous dumpling, and a popsicle stick handcrafting workshop. Come join us and share a great time together! Are you down for it?
