To address the poverty issue in Hong Kong, some community-initiated projects were launched to provide food to people in need. HKUST volunteers worked with a restaurant owner to distribute meal boxes to homeless people, elders and the underprivileged in Sham Shui Po. Through the service, our students learned more about the real situation of the homeless people and heard inspiring stories about the owner.

第一次參加無家無減愛活動，親手裝好飯送再派給露宿者，感到十分有意義。第一次走近露宿者居住的地方，他們的居住環境十分惡劣，幾塊木塊紙皮就組成一間居住的居所，真的很希望他們的生活會盡快改善，亦很感激有明哥這一班有心人。

今次活動協助深水埗明哥到區內派飯盒給露宿者。之前沒想像過會有這麼多露宿者，我們準備的飯盒都不足以供應他們。這次的活動反映區內問題，例如住宿、資源分配、貧窮等值得我們思考和找解決方法。
