Tidying up and packing donated clothes

Volunteers joined hands with a diverse team to support Crossroads’ daily operations including sorting and packing quality goods donated by businesses and private donors before re-distributing them to people in need. In particular, they assisted in sorting electronic items to Africa for shipment in May and clothes for local distribution.

Description

It’s a really fruitful day here because I learnt about how Crossroads facilitates donations from around the world and distributes them to the needy. There’s a lot of things to consider before people actually donate their belongings. For instance, at least clean the stuff and write a simple description about how to use it if it is a complicated piece of electronics. Thanks Connect for offering this opportunity.
