Inclusive New Year Fun － Singing & Games Galore 共融新春唱遊薈

In February, eight HKUST volunteers teamed up with the Po Leung Kuk Wing Lung Bank Golden Jubilee Hostel to celebrate the Lunar New Year with residents with intellectual disabilities.

The service program consisted of two parts. First, volunteers joined a guided tour led by hostel staff to gain valuable insight into the residents' daily lives and hostel operations. Second, the volunteers hosted group games and helped the residents create Lunar New Year crafts.

This experience deepened the volunteers' understanding of people with intellectual disabilities and their specific needs, while successfully fostering mutual respect and social inclusion.
