Hong Kong Special Needs Sports Institute is a social enterprise that empowers individuals with special needs. By providing professional, individualized sports training, the Institute helps participants explore their latent potential, foster physical development, improve concentration, and enhance social connections.

Two HKUST volunteers partnered with the Institute to promote its services at two major community events: the “Social Enterprise Summit 2025” and the “Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit.”

Before promoting the Institute at these expos, the volunteers assisted directly with its training sessions. This immersive experience gave them deep insight into the unique challenges and needs of the participants. Equipped with firsthand empathy and understanding, the volunteers passionately engaged with expo guests, drawing highly positive responses.
