Little EMpire Lanterns 童EM製燈籠慶中秋

To share the warmth and joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a group of 10 HKUST volunteers partnered with the Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER) to host a lively celebration for local ethnic minority children.

During the event, our students led an interactive lantern-making session, bonding with the kids while exploring the rich traditions of the festival together. This hands-on engagement served as a bridge for cross-cultural connection. By guiding them through the craft, our volunteers helped the children discover a profound sense of pride and joy in their creations, creating lasting memories of community harmony for everyone involved.
