Weeding to protect the plants in the Reserve

To preserve Fung Yuen (鳳園) as one of the best places to appreciate butterflies in South East Asia, volunteers helped to maintain the butterfly habitat that houses over 200 species of butterflies, and learned about the work of the Reserve.

Description

It is a tiring day but meaningful. We devoted some efforts to the construction of the habitats for all those beautiful butterflies. It is a great pleasure to take part in this activity.

I enjoyed serving in the Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve as a gardener responsible for digging water channels. It was a precious and encouraging experience to discover new voluntary work types in environmental protection. I would love to participate more in similar services.
