Poster of 35 for Life: Blood Drive Volunteers (2 - 7 Mar 2026)

In partnership with the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, HKUST is launching 35 for Life: Every Drop Counts, Every Life Matters – a year-long blood donation campaign that turns our milestone into meaningful action.

Hong Kong needs around 650 donations every day to meet the needs of all hospitals across the city, but collections regularly fall short during holidays and seasonal lulls. Together, we can help close this gap.

From 5-7 March 2026, the first round of the campaign, comprising 3 blood drives, will be held at the HKUST Campus for our students, faculty, staff, and alumni to donate blood. To help spread the message, we will also be recruiting volunteers for a promotion counter from 2-6 March, where they will help raise awareness and encourage more individuals to participate in the blood drives.

In addition to donating blood, you may also volunteer at blood drives to support smooth operations, assist with inquiries, and promote the importance of blood donation.
