Rice Planting Experience 稻田插秧體驗

This spring, volunteers experienced hands-on rice planting in Hong Kong's 200-year-old organic fields at Yi O. Wading through muddy paddies, they learned traditional farming techniques and gained real appreciation for the hard work behind every grain of rice.

The physical challenge of planting seedlings all day gave participants new respect for farmers' labor and sustainable agriculture. Many left with a personal commitment to reduce food waste, carrying this meaningful experience back to their daily lives.
