Volunteers and the ethnic minority teenagers walking along Wan Chai District to learn more about the local community

Volunteers visited the Wan Chai District with a group of ethnic minority teenagers to help them to learn some Cantonese and understand Hong Kong culture.  By tasting local food and visiting historical buildings, the service helped facilitate the ethnic minority teenagers integration into the Hong Kong community.

Description

Serving makes happiness! Today we learned from each other and enjoyed a wonderful time! Culture is a matter of sharing between diverse backgrounds. One apple trades for another apple, we are both apples. In such a network, the connections make us even more fulfilled and powerful.

This was an invaluable and unforgettable experience for me. I met Jaspreet in this community service, she is so kind and talkative. I had lots of fun during the walk along Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. I really wish that the period of service could be longer and more continuous in the future.
