In order to raise public awareness of the elderly getting injured due to falling accidents, the Salvation Army raised funds in their Flag Day 2017 to promote fall prevention in the community. HKUST volunteers supported the fundraiser for fall-prevention programs for the elderly through flag selling in Sham Shui Po district.

經過了今次的服務，其實我對深水埗改觀了。很多人也願意為了幫助人，而花自己的金錢。而且，我也學會了要更主動開口，只要肯嘗試，就可以。而且知道了積少成多的道理。深水埗可能讓人有一種較窮的感覺，但原來這裡的人也很願意幫助他人。

我學到了凡事都要主動及真誠地去做，才會有更大機會成功。另外，我之前一直以為不會有太多人買，可是實際賣的時候還有不少人主動走來要買。讓我對香港人的認識更深了，也讓我感到慚愧，因為以前我甚少會買旗，從今日之後我會多多支持慈善，為香港多出一分力！
