Be a Trendy Elderly 今「耆」流行

Twenty-three volunteers, in collaboration with the Chai Wan Neighbourhood Elderly Centre, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, set out to empower the older members of the community. The volunteers took on the role of IT mentors, guiding the older members of the community through the latest WhatsApp features. They patiently taught the seniors how to use popular functions like WhatsApp stickers and WhatsApp Channels, empowering them to become more tech-savvy. The volunteers' hands-on approach and dedication to sharing their knowledge helped bridge the digital divide, ensuring the older adults could overcome their apprehensions and embrace new technologies.
