Smartphone Seniors 神「耆」手機達人

Twelve volunteers assisted older adults in using smartphones and technology during the service. Collaborating with the Chinese YMCA Chai Wan Neighbourhood Elderly Centre, the program aimed to help older people stay updated with the latest trends and embrace the convenience brought by technology.

Volunteers guided older adults through interactive games and role-playing activities to educate them about online scams and safe navigation of the digital world. The program also fostered intergenerational connections, allowing older adults to engage with younger generations and the broader social sphere. By bridging the digital divide, volunteers empowered older adults to stay connected and involved with their loved ones and the wider community.
