Volunteers guiding students in constructing an Arduino Self-Driving Car

Partnering with the local charitable organization Project WeCan, 13 dedicated volunteers from HKUST spent a day with 30 students from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 3 Secondary School.

The volunteers organized an engaging STEM workshop and taught the students how to construct a self-driving car. In the afternoon, they guided the students on a tour of the HKUST campus, showcasing different areas and sharing their knowledge and experiences from university life.

Through this initiative, the volunteers aimed to inspire and motivate the students, encouraging them to unlock their full potential. The service provided an invaluable opportunity for the HKUST volunteers to connect with the younger generation, as they were inspired by the students' creativity and innovative ideas.
