Students interacting with local scavengers

Students experienced how scavengers picking up scraps in Mong Kok. After collecting the scraps, students passed them to scavengers and chatted with them to get to know more about the life of being a scavenger.

In this activity, participants understood more about the situations scavengers facing and the local poverty issues. They have developed a sense of empathy towards scavengers through this experience.
