Volunteers are collecting surplus vegetables from store owners.

Volunteers visited the Food Resources Recycling Centre (FRRC) of The Conservancy Association in Lei Muk Shue Estate in Kwai Chung to understand the food waste problem and the challenges of the poor in the area. They had collected 131.15kg of surplus food from the wet market, like bread, fresh vegetables, fish, tofu, etc. They also distributed the food to the people in need in the community.
