[This is a Community Service under Project C - Connect x Community]

A recent study shows that there are more than 1500 homeless people in Hong Kong, around 100 of them are living in Yau Tsim Mong Districts. However, affected by the pandemic, the real figures are much larger than that.

The Salvation Army Yaumatei Integrated Service for Street Sleepers is a non-governmental organization which reach out to the street sleepers regularly and provide a wide range of welfare services according to their needs. In this community service, volunteers join hands with The Integrated Service for Sleepers Team and visit street sleepers in Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok Districts. Through the conversation with the street sleepers, you can get an in-depth understanding of their circumstances and at the same time show our care and love.
