Food Recycling Action @CAHK 糧善 - 剩食回收行動 [Exclusive for Theme A - SDG 1]

Thousands of tons of food waste is produced each day and disposed of at landfills. This is not only a burden to our environment but also a waste of a lot of food. Join us to collect and redistribute edible surplus food from wet market in Tsuen Wan Lei Muk Shue Estate to the people in need.
香港每天產生數千噸的廚餘中，還有很多可以食用，可惜未有處理或救回就送到堆填區，十分可惜之餘還對環境造成負擔。現招務義工到荃灣梨木樹邨街市向合作商戶收集剩餘食物，並會經檢查處理後重新分配食物予區內有需要的街坊。親身感受甚麼是食物浪費的問題，亦為減廢及資源重新分配出一分力。

| HLTH1010: | Upon completion of the service, HLTH1010 course participants will attain a maximum of 2 hours per session in "Community or Voluntary Work" in the "Activities" module, subject to the actual direct service hours confirmed by the partner organization. |
