Ms Eunice Wong introducing how you can make your ideas stick and influence people for actions

This talk was part of the Changemaker Gear Up Training Series (GUTS) that helps students to develop ideas that match people's needs and influence people to take actions for social good. Being a competition judge for an international advertising award, Ms. Eunice Wong shared her views on developing creative ideas to gain people's support in a competition.

During the talk, Eunice provided suggestions on aspects of strategic planning, proposal writing, and effective presentation. She first introduced ways to get inspiration and how to present an effective solution to guide students in developing their ideas. Then, useful tips were given to students for presenting their ideas effectively within a short period. She also prepared a presentation template and some guidelines for students to build their proposals more easily. Since meetings are currently held on virtual platforms, she suggested students should keep their content short and focus on the service target group to grasp the audience's attention.

At the end of the talk, Eunice gave a final reminder on winning social innovation competitions: students should pay attention to the objectives they set and the problem that they identified when developing their proposals.
