Overview

Public Service Leadership Program Founded in September 2013, the Public Service Leadership Program aims to develop students' leadership skills and sense of social commitment through trainings, internships and leading social service projects of their own. We are inviting students who are passionate about community engagement and have financial need to apply for the Mrs Choi Ma Oi Kuen Public Service Leadership Program Award 2020-2021.

The committed awardees will join a 1 month internship and contribute 60 hours in the academic year to:

  • Initiate and lead a local service project that engages other HKUST students and         
  • creates meaningful community impact
  • Serve as an intern in an NGO during Winter Term
  • Participate in the yearlong Public Service Leadership Program, including all training sessions and other events throughout the academic year
  • Submit post-internship and final reflection report, and present their service project and reflection to program sponsors
