Hiking had become a popular activity during the COVID-19 pandemic, but at the same time, a huge amount of rubbish was left behind on different hiking trails and country park areas, which disturbs the wildlife and spoils our enjoyment of the natural world.
Student volunteers collected a wide range of rubbish, which includes tissues, masks, food packages, cigarette butts, plastic bottles, and food waste left by hikers on the Dragon's Back Trail. They have learned to become a responsible nature lover and to protect our natural environment.
