sense the art, fence the passion

Sports can help to build and foster a community and unite people, so can art. People with different abilities or backgrounds have equal rights to enjoy sports and art too.

Co-organized with Gay Games Hong Kong (GGHK), the following activities aim to encourage participants to embrace diversity in our community, exercise mutual respect and understanding to every individual for who they are. Let’s celebrate unity in diversity!

tactile art exhibition

Tactile Art Exhibition

Co-hosted with Beyond Vision International, the exhibition features a recreation of photographs from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games using three-dimensional materials.

Coupled with the application of the Tactile-Audio Interaction System (TAIS), both sighted and non-sighted persons can explore the world of sports and engage in a multi-sensory visual arts experience - through touch, hearing and feeling.

Date: 20 - 31 Mar

Venue: Outside LT-J

[Talk] Colors of Life Beyond Sight

Dr Rico Chan of Beyond Vision International created tactile ways for the visually impaired to "SEE" and experience enriched forms of art by feeling the layers of the artwork, reaching a realm that braille and audio description cannot.

Join us as Rico shares how creativity could be a powerful impetus to impacting the society, fostering diversity and making the world a more equal and enriching place for all.

Date & Time: 28 March (Tue) | 6 - 7pm
