In collaboration with Project WeCan, 11 volunteers hosted a STEM workshop for 18 secondary students from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 3 Secondary School. The workshop began with a creative team challenge where students built paper towers, encouraging them to innovate with limited resources.

Building on this, students constructed tricycles using the provided materials, then tested and compared their designs through hands-on experiments. This demonstrated how different design choices and real-world factors affect performance.

The core takeawat was clear: even with limited resources, creativity and critical thinking yield meaningful solutions. While guided by instructions, students were encouraged to develop unique designs and learn from one another.

This experience inspired students to think creatively and pursue their ideas, while giving volunteers a rewarding opportunity to mentor and empower the next generation to dream big.
