Reach Out to Migrant Domestic Workers 樂也「傭」融義工活動

Partnering with Pathfinders, 14 HKUST volunteers distributed resource cards to migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. Following a briefing by Pathfinders, the volunteers engaged in meaningful conversations focused on maternity rights, raising awareness within the community while deepening their own understanding of the daily challenges these workers face.

Through this outreach initiative, the volunteers reached approximately 130 migrant workers. This experience not only supported the immediate needs of the migrant worker community but also fostered greater empathy and cross-cultural understanding among the students.
