Beach Clean Up @HKUST 科大海岸清潔

Beach cleanups were organized twice this year—first following Typhoon Ragasa and again in April—to protect the HKUST seafront and its surrounding marine environment. Volunteers enthusiastically collected litter and debris washed ashore, preventing waste from washing back out to sea and harming marine life. Thanks to their collective efforts, the shoreline was restored to a cleaner, safer state. Beyond the cleanup, volunteers also raised awareness among students and visitors about reducing pollution and keeping our coastal environment healthy for both people and wildlife.
