Full Moon Blessings Collection 月餅捐贈計劃

Volunteers across campus supported the mooncake collection drive by managing donation stations, promoting the initiative, and gathering surplus mooncakes from HKUST students and staff. Through their efforts, boxes of mooncakes were sent to Feeding Hong Kong for redistribution to frontline charities, bringing festive joy to individuals and families in need.

This initiative reduced food waste during the Mid-Autumn Festival and raised awareness about sustainability and responsible consumption during festive seasons. Additionally, volunteers gained a deeper understanding of food redistribution and its vital role in supporting vulnerable communities.
