“Step Up” Your Love @Shamshuipo 傳「深」傳愛上樓探訪服務

In partnership with the Salvation Army Sham Shui Po Family Support Networking Team, 14 HKUST students visited the less privileged residents of Sham Shui Po living in sub-divided flats. Volunteers visited households facing various challenges, such as elderly people living alone and new arrivals to Hong Kong.

Throughout the visits, the students not only shared information about available community resources and support services, but also offered a warm presence and attentive listening. Witnessing the challenges faced by the underprivileged deeply moved the volunteers and strengthened their belief in continuing to make a positive impact in the community.
