English Adventure with Teens 英語探索之旅

Collaborating with Choi Hung Estate Catholic Secondary School, 11 HKUST volunteers conducted two workshops for their students.

During the first session, volunteers introduced four sets of Jeopardy games featuring English words commonly used in the daily lives of secondary students. The aim was not only to enhance their vocabulary but also to provide a supportive environment for practicing English conversation skills, encouraging them to engage in complete English discussions.

In the second session, the secondary students visited HKUST. Volunteers organized a checkpoint game where the students navigated through various locations on the campus. Apart from completing English tasks, they tackled interesting questions across different subjects. This immersive experience aimed to broaden their understanding of higher education and foster curiosity about various fields of study, all while ensuring an enjoyable time.
