"Equal Tour 180" Wheelchair Experience in Community 「平等號180」輪椅社區體驗

Partnering with the Hong Kong PHAB Association, 12 HKUST students joined the experience guided by trainers to navigate the community in wheelchairs while completing various daily tasks.

By travelling in public spaces, they gained firsthand experience of the importance of barrier-free access facilities for wheelchair users. The experience fostered empathy and the right attitude toward physically handicapped and able-bodied (PHAB) integration and encouraged a deeper appreciation of inclusivity in society.
