A Taste of Nepal in Yau Tsim Mong 油尖旺尋尼泊爾味

In collaboration with the Yau Tsim Mong Family Education and Support Centre, HKUST students joined a cultural exchange experience with a cooking workshop and city tour to celebrate Nepalese traditions.

During the cooking workshop led by Nepalese instructors, participants learned to prepare simple, delicious Nepalese dishes. After enjoying the meal they had crafted, participants joined Nepalese guides for a walking tour through the vibrant streets of Yau Ma Tei. They explored bustling local markets, cultural landmarks and the daily life of the Nepalese community.

This immersive experience not only provided participants with hands-on exposure to Nepalese traditions but also fostered a deeper sense of connection and understanding between them and the Nepalese community.
