Trapped in Cage Homes 侷住體驗館

Students took part in an experiential learning tour organized by the Society for Community Organization, aimed at deepening their understanding of the living conditions faced by low-income residents in Hong Kong.

The tour featured a one-to-one restoration of these confined living spaces, allowing participants to viscerally experience what it feels like to reside in a small living area. Students heard from the residents about the daily struggles and challenges resulting from such limited living conditions. This experience fostered deeper empathy and understanding among the students towards the realities of poverty and its detrimental impact on quality of life and human dignity.
