STEM Lantern Crafting with Kids 走馬燈慶中秋

Twelve students from HKUST volunteered at Principal Chan Free Tutorial World for a meaningful and fun session crafting lanterns to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with underprivileged children.

During the session, volunteers introduced basic STEM concepts related to the revolving lantern to the children, blending learning with hands-on creativity. The session provided an opportunity for the children and volunteers to interact, bond, and express their imagination. It was a joyful and enriching experience for both the children and our volunteers, creating lasting memories together.
