Smartphone Academy for Elderly 智能手機長者學堂

Twelve volunteers provided assistance to older adults in using smartphones and technology during the service. Collaborating with Caring Engaging Smart, the program aimed to promote independent living and social connectivity for older adults.
During the session, the volunteers guided older adults through interactive games, teaching them various techniques for using smartphones. Part of the session focused on educating older adults about eye exercises to protect their vision. The program also fostered intergenerational connections, enabling older adults to engage with younger generations and the wider social sphere. By bridging the digital divide, volunteers empowered older adults to remain connected and involved with their loved ones and the broader community.
