Culinary Pursuit 食尋經典

Four students from The Next Changemaker organized two sessions to promote interaction between older people and young individuals.

In the first session, the students along with other volunteers, arranged a one-day tour of HKUST for the older people. They led them to various locations on campus and had the opportunity to try some local traditional food during the tour.

During the second session, student volunteers collaborated with the older people to make sesame rolls. This activity provided the students with a deeper understanding of traditional desserts and served an opportunity for the older people to share their past memories. The volunteers and older people had a delightful afternoon together.
