HKUST Bread Run 惜食．麵包收集活動 (Oct 2023)

HKUST volunteers visited various bread stores before closing to collect surplus fresh bread across Hong Kong and bought them back to the food bank.

The collected bread was then promptly delivered the next morning to Feeding Hong Kong's extensive charity network. These donations reached a wide range of organizations, including shelters for the homeless, centers for migrant workers, refuge centers for women, children's homes, and other nonprofit programs aimed to provide food to individuals in need.
